Edgar Tolson
Kentucky's celebrated Folk artist, Edgar Tolson, was the son of a farmer and minister, growing up in the Appalachian tradition. His engaging woodcarvings found their way into important public and private collections across the country

A former cabinet maker and stonemason,Tolson turned to Woodcarving after a stroke in 1957, his carvings of Adam and Eve became his signature theme.

Renee Seaman Treml

Inspired by wildlife while living in North Carolina, (USA), and volunteering at the Piedmont Wildlife Center Hospital, Renee Seaman Treml's paintings highlight the subtle details of nature with delicacy and humor.

Renee creates her collage, mixed media paintings by using handmade paper along with pages from retired books for her backgrounds. She applies the paint directly on top, allowing hints of the background to show through the paint.

For her scratchboard illustrations, Renee paints ink on smooth clayboard and scratches away the ink, revealing the white background.

Recognized as one of the few self-taught american artists to have the skills of an American Master, Andy Davis completed life size sculptures of music legend Ray Charles, James "Radio " Kennedy, and Chick-fila founder, Truett Cathy. His larger than life size bronze sculpture of Hugh Hefner will be installed in the Playboy Mansion in 2009-2010.
